Customer Consultant | Front of House

We are seeking a customer service professional with administrational ability.

This position will suit someone who has a love for fine jewellery and gemstones, a positive attitude, excellent communication skills and wants to become a member of a growing team of jewellery professionals.

While this role is about sales, the primary focus is our customer experience and education.

The ability to provide personal and premium customer service is essential and previous experience in retail or administration is highly valued

You will work directly with customers and co-ordinate retail based admin tasks as well as online customer-service based activity.

Duties are split between creating a meaningful customer journey through various platforms, coordinating operations and logistics for the client journey, conducting client appointments and general showroom duties.

 

Key responbilities:

Being the face of Harry & Co – welcoming customers into our store

Responding to email enquiries and creating a unique and memorable experience for each client

Answering the jewellery store phone and managing customer enquiries to the highest level of service

Setting up the showroom daily and packing it down at the end of the day

Managing outgoing and incoming shipments, working with couriers and clients to ensure timely deliveries and effective communication.

Managing the packaging and shipment processes including ordering inventory etc.

Scheduling and managing requested showroom appointments

Maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the showroom and our jewellery pieces

Maintain detailed customer notes

Processing sales in store

Perform additional admin tasks when needed

 

An ideal candidate has:

An understanding of all aspects relating to customer service, greeting and engaging with customers in person, online and via phone

The ability to connect with customers and make their requirements your number one priority

Liase with customers throughout all phases of the jewellery development and production process

The ability to personally handle customer relations ensuring suitable resolutions are made in line with our high standard of service, policies and procedures

Leading the showroom appointments, innovating and managing customer interaction

Create and issue accurate quotes, contracts, sales orders and invoices to customers and clients

Maintain detailed customer notes.

Your own vehicle and drivers licence

An understanding of specialised retail and a passion for fine jewellery and luxury procurement.
